Emily co-leads Hanbury’s UK public affairs practice; advising start-ups, big tech and cultural institutions on UK political strategy and engagement. She joined Hanbury as employee number 10 in 2017 and has been part of its significant growth. She is an experienced communicator and campaigner, having managed the media campaign for Jo Swinson’s successful bid for the Liberal Democrat leadership, as well as managing the Leader’s Tour in the most recent general election. Emily is an elected member of the PRCA Public Affairs Board Executive Committee, which upholds ethical standards in the public affairs industry. She also sits on the Design Museum’s External Affairs Committee. She read Ancient and Modern History at Magdalen College, Oxford.
