Joe co-leads Hanbury’s UK public affairs practice, and advises clients across a range of issues involving the impact of politics on business. He joined Hanbury in 2019 having been the Director of Legislative Affairs at 10 Downing Street during Theresa May's time as Prime Minister. With over 13 years’ of experience working in a variety of political capacities, including three election campaigns, he has an in-depth knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall. He is also an experienced public affairs practitioner, with a record of assisting clients through industry changes and regulatory reforms. The Daily Telegraph has described him as ‘one man who has a wealth of experience on advising Prime Ministers about dealing with Parliament’.
